Are you an enthusiastic, guest focussed food and beverage professional? Are you looking for a role in a leading hotel and conference venue which has plans for major development over the next few years?
We are looking for an outstanding individual wishing to progress within their role to provide 5* service to guests in our main restaurant. In addition to creating a fine dining experience for residents and non residents, we offer 24 hour room service to our 96 bedrooms and lounge service throughout the day and evening. We also hold a number of weddings, conferences throughout the year and we strive to ensure that each event runs smoothly and successfully throughout.
The Restaurant is an important area of the business, acting as a showcase and generating a large portion of the overall turnover. We take great pride in our high standards of service and our warm and genuine welcome from the whole team.
You will be an experienced food and beverage professional looking to move into a supervisory role, assisting in the day to day running of our busy food and beverage outlets. You will be involved in the effective organisation of the team, and also in their training and development to ensure that standards and procedures are maintained at a consistently high level.
We are keen to find the right person, with experience, who can grow and develop with us. Room Attendant
£6.08 per hour, plus gratuities
Are you passionate about cleaning? Do you want to be part of a friendly, professional and hard working team who maintain The Headland bedrooms, public areas and self-catering cottages to exceptionally high standards?
We are looking for people to join our close-knit team who clean and prepare our rooms and cottages for our discerning guests. You should have great attention to detail and be consistent in the quality of your work. You should be able to work alone and as part of a team, and have excellent organisation skills.
You will come into contact with our guests from time to time, so a warm and friendly personality is an asset. We will be counting on you, so you must be reliable.
Positions are seasonal, although permanent roles may be offered to exceptional candidates. Flexible working hours are available.

Are you an enthusiastic, customer focussed and passionate about customer service? Do you want to join an exciting hotel striving to create a fantastic guest experience?
We are looking for outstanding individuals to join our Restaurant, Terrace and Bar team, serving breakfast to residents, cream teas and light lunches during the day and providing excellent service to those dining with us in the evening. We have events facilities for up to 250, where weddings, conferences, private dining and a whole host of other special occasions take place, so those working as part of our Food and Beverage team must enjoy a fast-paced working environment.

Cornwall's iconic hotel overlooking Fistral Beach has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager who is able to demonstrate outstanding skills, which are proactive as well as reactive to business trends and trading performance. You will work with all departments to allow The Headland to achieve its future goals and aspirations.
With nearly 100 bedrooms and 40 5* star self-catering cottages, there are exciting plans in the pipeline for our guests and staff alike such as the new ‘wellness area' which will be completed by May 2012, followed by the building of the spa and gymnasium starting in September 2012.
We are looking for an exceptional candidate with excellent knowledge of the UK and European leisure and corporate hospitality industry. You will need to effectively negotiate MICE agreements, contracts for corporate clients and group leisure bookings. You must have a high standard of presentational skills to present reports on a monthly basis at director and senior management level. You may be required to provide your own transport to travel within the local area from time to time. Marketing, reservations and revenue management experience are all an advantage.
