With the news that we will be opening for Christmas this year - the first time in decades, Jan and the team have been hard at work planning the all important menus. Goose or turkey? Christmas pudding or yule log? Decisions, decisions!
The Headland Shines at the Newquay Fish Festival

This year The Headland sent a team of it's most enthusiastic chefs to wow and entertain the crowds. The team produced several fantastic dishes, while the audience were able to watch every technique involved in the creation process. The crowd gathered and remained seated well after the presentation, talking with our team and getting a real insight into our kitchen.
Lee moves on to pastures new

We would like to wish Lee all the best as he moves on from The Headland, and progresses further in the fine-dining world.
Our very talented Sous Chef, Mike Reynolds, was delighted to accept the promotion to Head Chef. Whilst Lee was unwell over Christmas and New Year's Eve, Mike wowed all our house party guests with his fabulous menus and cooking. We look forward to sampling some more of his dishes in the coming months!
Moulin Rouge girls wow the boys
